I would not recommend to use an adapter aswell, since you cant get the same PSI/BAR pressure with the adapter attached. A presta valve can hold up to 7,5 – 8 bar pressure, and with the adapter you can only get around 6,5 – 7 bars..

Get a nice foot-pump for your presta valve with a PSI/BAR gauge and you’ll be happy.

And to think of, most of the gas stations today can only get up to approximately 3,5 – 4 bar pressure.. Works as a temporarly solution as same for an handheld pump.

Presta valves are the best if you get used to them ;)
